Job description

Our client, a luxury fashion brand, is seeking a Temporary Facilities Manager to support their retail team in New York City.
This is a full-time, temporary position starting as soon as possible. This is a hybrid role, requiring 4 days per week in the office and 1 day remote. This is a temporary assignment expected to last 6 months, with the potential to extend based on business needs and individual performance.
Job Duties Include
  • Coordinate facilities maintenance, repairs, and vendor services across 40+ retail locations throughout the U.S. and Canada, ensuring timely resolution of store maintenance requests and minimal business disruption.
  • Manage facilities projects including preventive maintenance, renovations, and new store openings by partnering with Store Planning, Retail Operations, Real Estate, and external vendors.
  • Oversee facilities administration by processing invoices, tracking budgets, maintaining work orders, and ensuring accurate documentation of store assets, floor plans, and vendor records.
  • Build strong relationships with boutique teams and cross-functional partners, providing proactive communication, prioritizing multiple projects, and delivering a high level of service in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Additional duties as needed and assigned.
Job Qualifications Include
  • 3+ years of experience supporting facilities, retail operations, or store planning for a multi-unit retail organization, preferably overseeing 40+ locations across North America.
  • Proven experience managing vendors, coordinating maintenance and capital projects, processing facilities invoices, and supporting store openings, remodels, or renovations.
  • Highly organized with exceptional project management, communication, and problem-solving skills; able to prioritize competing deadlines while working independently on a lean team.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and facilities management platforms (e.g., ServiceChannel), with the ability to collaborate effectively across Retail Operations, Construction, Real Estate, and senior leadership.
Pay Rate: $45 - $48/hr
