Job description

AllSTEM Connections is seeking a Regulatory Affairs Specialist to work hybrid/onsite in Trumbull, CT.
This is a 12-month contract position. Possible extension/temp-to-hire.
Hourly rate is from $35 to $45/hour.
M-F, 8AM - 5PM.
Hybrid- In office Wednesday & Thursday.
SUMMARY:
This is work in pesticide product registration and compliance requiring an entrepreneurial attitude, and enthusiasm for supporting business development and technical efforts supporting new end-use product registrations.
The successful candidate will have a background in FIFRA product registration, data generation and efficacy testing to support cost effective and time sensitive product registration applications.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Developing and managing projects related to pesticide product registration, safety and compliance.
• Support FIFRA registrations for conventional pesticides including preparing, submitting and/or managing product applications.
• Managing multiple product registrations and project teams within the scope/budget/schedule expectations and ensuring quality standards on project deliverables.
QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION:
• Bachelor's degree in environmental science, chemistry, toxicology, environmental engineering, or other applicable related degree. (required)
• Advanced degree in environmental science, chemistry, toxicology, environmental engineering, or other applicable related degree. (preferred)
SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
• At least 5 years of experience in pesticide product registration; or equivalent combination of education and experience, including preparation and submission of pesticide registration applications, product labels, offers-to-pay, data matrices, etc. (required).
• Knowledge of federal and state statutes and regulations related to pesticide registration (required).
• Working knowledge of relevant federal and state regulatory programs (e.g., FIFRA, TSCA, Prop 65). (required)
• Experience in managing multiple complex product registration, safety and compliance, EHS compliance, or related projects. (required)
• Safety and compliance, EHS compliance, or related practices experience (preferred).
Comments/Special Instructions
This position is hybrid so the person must be local to Trumbull, CT. Wednesday and Thursday they will work in the Trumbull office. 3 days per week they will work from home Mon, Tues, Fri
