Job Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire
Schedule: Night Shift | 6 Days per Week
Pay: $29.00 per Hour
Expected Hours: 40–50 per Week

Job Summary

We are currently seeking dependable and professional Class A CDL Drivers for a long-term Port Driver opportunity based in the Inland Empire, CA. This position primarily involves night shift operations handling touch freight deliveries using day cabs. Drivers will operate local and regional routes between the ports and destinations including Las Vegas, San Diego, and Arizona (same-day return trips only — no overnight travel).

The ideal candidate is safety-focused, reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering excellent service while maintaining compliance with DOT regulations and company standards.

Responsibilities

  • Operate Class A commercial vehicles safely and efficiently in port operations
  • Handle touch freight deliveries and pickups
  • Drive local and regional routes between the Inland Empire, the ports, and surrounding destinations
  • Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
  • Maintain accurate driver logs and comply with DOT regulations
  • Ensure freight is delivered safely, securely, and on schedule
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding routes, schedules, and delivery updates
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures

Qualifications

  • Minimum 18 months of recent Class A CDL driving experience
  • Valid Class A CDL required
  • Port driving experience preferred
  • Touch freight experience preferred
  • Ability to work consistent night shifts

  • Professional, dependable, and safety-oriented attitude

Schedule
