Trucking Coordinator – 77066
Salary Range: $50k - $55k
Location: North Houston

Job Summary
The Trucking Coordinator manages the complete transportation lifecycle for inbound and outbound shipments across all HUB locations. This role is responsible for shipment creation, quoting, dispatching, track and trace, customer and supplier communication, shipment status updates, and timely Proof of Delivery (POD) management while ensuring customer KPIs are met.
Key Responsibilities
  • Create transportation shipments in the transportation management system.
  • Obtain and evaluate carrier quotes.
  • Dispatch shipments to approved trucking companies for all HUB locations.
  • Track and trace shipments from pickup through final delivery.
  • Provide proactive shipment updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Update shipment milestones and statuses accurately.
  • Serve as liaison between customers, suppliers, warehouses, and carriers.
  • Resolve transportation exceptions and service issues.
  • Obtain, validate, and upload PODs within KPI requirements.
  • Validate transportation charges and support invoice accuracy.
  • Identify process improvements to enhance transportation performance.
  • Provide training and ongoing support on the company’s Platform and Supplier Pickup Tool (SPT) to internal users and stakeholders, ensuring compliance with standard work instructions, system processes, and customer requirements.
Qualifications
High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
2+ years of logistics, transportation, or dispatch experience.
Skills & Competencies
