ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Design Contractor, you will be responsible for translating design concepts into precise technical packages. You will bridge the gap between creative vision and manufacturing reality, ensuring our signature fit and quality are maintained across all categories.

This is a temporary contractor position (~3 months) supporting our Design team.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

  • Technical Design & CADs: Create detailed, accurate flat sketches and CADs using Adobe Illustrator.
  • PLM Management: Full ownership of data entry, tech pack creation, and BOM (Bill of Materials) management within the WFX PLM system.
  • Cross-Platform Collaboration: Utilize Google Workspace (Sheets, Drive, Slides) to manage design trackers, line plans, and collaborative feedback loops.
  • Product Development: Support the design team in refining silhouettes, selecting trims, and ensuring all technical specifications meet brand standards.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • Software Mastery: Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Illustrator (specifically for technical apparel flats).
  • PLM Experience: Proven experience working within WFX (World Fashion Exchange) or a similar high-level PLM system is a non-negotiable requirement.
  • Digital Fluency: Highly organized in Google Platform (Sheets/Docs) for data management and collaborative CAD sharing.
  • Apparel Expertise: Strong understanding of garment construction, performance fabrics, and the "Mizzen+Main fit."
  • Efficiency: Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
