Adecco is hiring for a Food Quality Assurance Technician in the Westbrook, ME area! Join a growing food manufacturing team where you'll play a key role in ensuring products meet the highest quality and food safety standards. This is a 2nd shift, temp-to-hire opportunity offering competitive pay, career growth, and the opportunity to work with an industry-leading manufacturer.

Schedule & Pay
  • 2nd Shift: Monday-Friday | 1:00 PM - 9:00 PM
  • Training Schedule: Monday-Friday | 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
  • Pay: $21.00-$25.00/hour, based on experience
Responsibilities
  • Perform product inspections, quality checks, sensory evaluations, and analytical testing
  • Monitor production to ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards
  • Verify product labeling and packaging accuracy
  • Complete QA documentation, inspections, and data entry
  • Calibrate and maintain quality testing equipment
  • Ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP, SQF, GFSI, sanitation, and allergen control programs
Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of Quality Assurance or Quality Control experience in a food manufacturing environment
  • Working knowledge of HACCP, GMP, SQF, food safety regulations, allergen control, and label compliance
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and basic computer applications
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay Details: $21.00 to $25.00 per hour
