C&S has an immediate opening for a full-time, temp-to-hire Bindery Operator Assistant in Jefferson City.

Salary/hours for Bindery Operator Assistant: $16-$18/hr. commensurate with experience; Monday–Friday 7 a.m.–3:30 p.m. with overtime as needed

Responsibilities:
  • Stitching and punching documents
  • Coiling and cutting materials
  • Gluing pages or covers
  • Cleaning equipment regularly
  • Performing basic preventative maintenance
  • Troubleshooting mechanical issues as they arise
  • Following general guidelines and job specifications
  • Collaborating with coworkers and supervisors
  • Must be quality-minded and pay attention to detail
  • Must be able to read and understand a job ticket
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Must have strong attendance and good work ethic
  • Willingness to work overtime when necessary
  • Must be at least 18 years of age to operate equipment
  • Basic computer skills to perform data entry and job tracking
  • Ability to lift at least 50 lbs and perform pulling, pushing, reaching, stooping and standing activities for the entirety of the shift
