Data Entry Transcriber (NARA St. Louis)
Location: 1 Archives Drive, St. Louis, MO
Status: Full-Time
Position Summary:
The Data Entry Specialist provides accurate data entry and transcription support for federal personnel records in support of NARA's NPRC mission. This position handles sensitive records and must maintain strict attention to detail, confidentiality, and accuracy.
Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior computer/data entry experience
  • Strong attention to detail, as accuracy is critical for this role
  • Basic computer skills, including data entry and keyboarding
  • Ability to follow detailed written instructions

Physical & Security Requirements:
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
  • Ability to work in a secure records environment
  • Ability to pass required NARA background investigation, badging, and drug screen
  • This contract requires that all qualified candidates must be U.S. citizens

Essential Functions:
