Coastal Carolina University is currently accepting applications for the following temporary position:
Administrative Support, Temporary in Counseling & Psychological Services.
This position provides complex and confidential secretarial/receptionist support for Counseling and Psychological Services & the LiveWell Office to ensure efficient operation of the departments.

Required: A high school diploma and work experience that is directly related to the area of employment. A bachelor's degree may be substituted for the related work experience.
Preferred: Three (3) years relevant work experience is preferred. Experience in health care center administration and/or higher education is preferred.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Assist with administrative functions of Counseling and Psychological Services and Live Well including scheduling appointments, internal meetings, and maintaining inventory. Provide administrative support to 15 plus professional staff members.
- Provide first point of contact for students, faculty, and staff. Screen office visitors and incoming calls to determine needs and/or make referrals to University Offices. Respond to inquiries, take messages, maintain office appointment calendar.
- Coordinate student check-in and rotation in the office to meet with a counselor or Live Well Staff member; provide routine information and give directions for utilizing online scheduling system; and delivery quality customer services.
- Maintain confidentiality of student records including incoming and outgoing mail, printed files, and electronic health records.
- Successfully interact with faculty, staff, students, and community members, maintain up-to date knowledge of campus offices and resources, appropriately schedule students for needed appointments in the clinic and send referrals to approved locations when needed.
Temporary staff position. (TP0649/NS01480P). Pay is commensurate with qualifications and experience. Normal work days are Monday through Friday, 25 hours per week. Must be flexible to meet the special scheduling needs of the university.
