Job Details

The Jefferson College of Nursing is seeking a Clinical Adjunct Instructor responsible for providing high-quality clinical instruction and supervision to nursing students in a variety of clinical settings. This role involves guiding students in applying theoretical knowledge to real-world healthcare scenarios, assessing student performance, and fostering a supportive learning environment. The Clinical Adjunct Instructor will work closely with the nursing program faculty and staff to ensure the success of the clinical component of the nursing program.
As a Clinical Adjunct Instructor, the applicant must have enthusiasm for teaching future nurses in the clinical settings

Job Description

Position Requirements:

  • BSN required. Master's degree in nursing highly preferred. Candidates who do not have a master's degree must be currently enrolled in a master's degreein a nursingprogram.

  • Eligible/current for licensure to practice professional nursing in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania or Compact Nursing License

  • Previous teaching experience preferred

  • Utilizes contemporary and innovative teaching methodologies in classroom, laboratory/simulation, and clinical settings

  • Evidence of ongoing clinical competency

  • Participates in professional activities related to area of clinical expertise

  • Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the core values of the Enterprise
