Job description

Position Overview

A growing manufacturing organization is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to support day-to-day accounting operations. This role will focus primarily on Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions while assisting with basic financial reporting and internal accounting processes. The ideal candidate has prior accounting experience, strong attention to detail, and is comfortable working with financial data in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) transactions accurately and timely
  • Review, verify, and enter invoices, payments, and expense documentation
  • Assist with maintaining and updating Profit & Loss (P&L) statements and related financial reports
  • Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies as needed
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities
  • Maintain organized and accurate accounting records and documentation
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure financial data is complete and up to date
  • Assist with additional accounting or administrative tasks as assigned

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role is required
  • Manufacturing Industry experience is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
  • Familiarity with P&L statements and basic financial reporting
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software (ERP experience is a plus)
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
