Our Client is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper / Accountant to support their accounting operations in Statesboro, GA.

Responsibilities

  • Record financial transactions

  • Prepare trial balances and reconcile general ledger account balances

  • Prepare bank reconciliations

  • Prepare payroll and sales tax requests

  • Maintain accurate financial records

  • Assist with general bookkeeping and accounting functions as needed

Requirements

  • 3-7+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience

  • Proven experience with QuickBooks Online or QuickBooks Desktop

  • Payroll experience

  • Strong understanding of bookkeeping and accounting procedures

  • Experience with bank and general ledger reconciliations

  • Good communication skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail

  • Public accounting or CPA firm experience is preferred
