Job Description
Are you an experienced Commercial or Industrial Electrician looking for your next opportunity? We are seeking skilled Facility Electricians to support electrical systems and facility operations within a modern, high-tech manufacturing environment. In this role, you'll perform electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and installations while ensuring equipment and facility systems operate safely and efficiently. If you enjoy solving electrical problems, working on a variety of building systems, and being part of a collaborative maintenance team, this is an outstanding opportunity to build a long-term career.
Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial and industrial electrical systems.
  • Inspect and maintain electrical panels, breakers, transformers, motors, lighting systems, outlets, and power distribution equipment.
  • Install, repair, and replace electrical wiring, conduit, switches, and related components.
  • Respond to electrical work orders and complete repairs in a timely manner.
  • Perform preventive maintenance to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
  • Maintain inventory of electrical parts, tools, and maintenance supplies.
  • Coordinate with outside contractors and vendors as needed.
  • Assist with general facility maintenance projects, including HVAC, plumbing, and building repairs when required.
  • Follow all OSHA, NEC, company safety, and electrical compliance standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Technical school or vocational training in Electrical Technology preferred.
Experience
  • Minimum three years of commercial or industrial electrical experience.
  • Experience troubleshooting electrical distribution systems, motor controls, lighting systems, and industrial equipment.
  • Journeyman Electrician License (active or expired) strongly preferred.
  • Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or commercial facilities preferred.
  • Experience with building automation systems, HVAC controls, or cleanroom environments is a plus.
Skills
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities.
  • Ability to read electrical blueprints, wiring diagrams, and one-line schematics.
  • Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
  • Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment.
  • Willingness to respond to emergency maintenance calls when necessary.
