Looking for an in-house remote opportunity for a temp attorney to litigate cases throughout the New York City area. This position is an ideal fit for an Attorney with litigation experience in motor-vehicle accidents, property damage claims and No-Fault claims, with the opportunity to handle premises actions. The attorney responsibilities are as follows:
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Independently handle lawsuits involving motor-vehicle accidents, property damage claims and No-Fault claims, with the opportunity to handle premises lawsuits.
โ€ข Prepare pleadings, written discovery, reports, motions, and briefs in support of defense strategies without supervision.
โ€ข Conduct legal research and independently develop and present defense strategies on behalf of clients.
โ€ข Analyze substantive and procedural legal and factual issues.
โ€ข Provide effective and timely communications, legal advice and other services to clients and claims customers on legal and factual issues in a technology driven environment.
โ€ข Communicate with the court, witnesses, opposing counsel and co-counsel in a manner consistent with established office procedures.
โ€ข Prompt, efficient and effective disposition of assigned cases
