  • Discovery Management: Supervise complex written discovery protocols, oversee third-party subpoena workflows, and manage multi-faceted document productions.
  • Trial & Arbitration Preparation: Partner with senior trial counsel to build comprehensive trial notebooks, draft motions in limine, vet expert disclosures, and formulate presentation strategies.
  • Strategic Client Advisory: Interface directly with corporate executives and institutional clients, providing authoritative risk assessments, case status reports, and strategic exposure counseling.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with transactional, real estate, and IP practice groups to address multi-faceted legal issues arising within complex business disputes.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience: 4–6 years of substantive, high-level Complex Commercial Litigation experience within a respected law firm ecosystem.
  • Academic Credentials: Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school backed by a highly distinguished academic record.
  • Bar Admission: Active license to practice law in good standing with any U.S. jurisdiction; must obtain a North Carolina State Bar license within one year of hire.
  • Distinguishing Profiles: A past judicial clerkship, large law firm tenure, or prior professional career track is strongly preferred.
