Job description

Description
Middlebury College's German Summer Language School is pleased to announce a vacancy for a temporary position for a graduate-level introductory course in German linguistics, either in German Historical Linguistics or in German Applied Linguistics, also from the German-speaking countries.
In addition to the salary, lodging and a complete meal plan will be provided. Insurance is available.
Qualifications
The successful candidate holds a Ph.D. in German (DaF, Germanistik, Linguistik, historischeGermanistik), has at least two years of teaching experience at an institution of higher learning/ a university in the German-speaking countries, and is a native speaker or equivalent (bilingual). S/he will join a highly motivated community of students and colleagues in an intensive immersion environment where living and learning are fully integrated. Must be willing and able to live on campus and participate in all aspects of the program, including meals and co-curricular activities.
