Payroll Specialist
As a Temporary Payroll Specialist for the US & Canada, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that contribute to accurate and timely processing of payroll for our employees. You may collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and input payroll data, validate data, resolve exceptions or issues, and ensure compliance with payroll laws and regulations. Your attention to detail and accuracy will be crucial in ensuring that our employees are paid correctly and on time.
Job Duties May Include:
Gather and input payroll data, including hours worked, deductions, and bonuses.
Process end-to-end payroll on a bi-weekly and weekly basis using ADP GlobalView and Oracle HCM in a timely manner.
Ensure compliance with federal, state/province, and local tax regulations, wage and hour laws, and company policies.
Maintain payroll records and ensure data integrity in HR and payroll systems.
Reconcile payroll prior to transmission and validate confirmed reports.
Manage garnishments, benefits deductions, and other withholdings.
Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, taxes, and deductions.
Collaborate with HR, Finance, and external vendors to ensure smooth payroll operations.
Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and explanations.
Continuously identify and implement process improvements for payroll efficiency and accuracy.
MUST HAVE:
Minimum 2 year of payroll experience, ideally in a multi-state (province) or nation environment.
Proficiency in MS Office Microsoft Excel for generating spreadsheets and utilizing formulas for cross-reference analysis.

Experience in Time & Attendance and its integration with Payroll.
Knowledge of US and/or Canada Federal, State/Province, and Local payroll policies and procedures, or similar relevant experience.
ADP GlobalView payroll system experience and Oracle HCM experience.
Ability to artfully convey even subtle or complex messages clearly, as appropriate for the topic an audience (Spanish and English).
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
