JOB SUMMARY:


The Representative, Guest Experience Customer Service plays a key role in creating a welcoming and memorable experience for all Dallas Arboretum guests. This position provides high-quality customer support via phone call, assists with ticketing and general inquiries, and upholds departmental standards and Arboretum policies. This role is telework eligible, while maintaining availability for required onsite meetings and support.


This is a Seasonal position. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Provide friendly, professional, and courteous service to guests over the phone
  • Assist guests with ticket purchases, reservations, and related inquiries
  • Respond to general questions regarding the garden, events, memberships, and policies
  • Accurately communicate and consistently enforce Dallas Arboretum policies and procedures
  • Troubleshoot and resolve guest concerns while maintaining a positive and solution-oriented approach
  • Utilize computer systems and ticketing platforms to manage guest transactions and information
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure exceptional guest service standards
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support Guest Experience and organizational needs

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS


Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or G.E.D.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills with a guest-focused mindset
  • Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office products
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior customer service or guest relations experience
  • Experience handling customer inquiries 
  • Ability to work a rotating schedule, including weekends, holidays, and seasonal evening hours

 Telework Requirements 

  • This position is eligible for telework; however, candidates must reside within the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex
  • Availability to attend required meetings, training sessions, or support shifts onsite at the Dallas Arboretum is mandatory
