Responsibilities
About the Team: The Short Drama Team is dedicated to curating, producing, and localizing high-quality short dramas for TikTok. - Lead copyright partnership initiatives for overseas short dramas to expand the pipeline of targeted content supply. - Apply solid understanding of short drama content; leverage a sharp eye for identifying hit content, provide strategic guidance on imported content quality, and drive growth in both overall content volume and the number of premium short drama titles. - Screen and manage key copyright holders on an ongoing basis. Independently handle end-to-end copyright negotiations, contract execution and content launch processes to secure favorable copyright terms and maximize partnership value. - Acquire exclusive premiere rights to new short drama titles and support the overseas distribution of top-performing domestic short dramas, with the goal to boost the coverage of hit content offerings. - Monitor overseas short drama rankings on a regular basis to maintain the market-leading edge of TikTok's overseas short drama portfolio in the market. - Continuously refine partnership and management workflows throughout the collaboration lifecycle; proactively identify potential partnership risks, develop viable solutions and drive their effective implementation. As a project intern, you will have the opportunity to engage in impactful short-term projects that provide you with a glimpse of professional real-world experience. You will gain practical skills through on-the-job learning in a fast-paced work environment and develop a deeper understanding of your career interests. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis - we encourage you to apply early. Responsibilities: - Assist the team in exploring and developing short drama topics suitable for TikTok's U.S. market, combining local cultural characteristics and audience preferences. - Conduct daily collection and collation of information on the U.S. film and television industry, including but not limited to popular genres, hit works, emerging creators, and industry policy trends. - Monitor and track hot trends on major U.S. social media platforms (especially TikTok), summarize popular topics, creative forms, and user interaction rules. - Collect and sort out major U.S. social events and public topics, and initially evaluate their feasibility for adaptation into short drama content. - Assist in organizing research materials, compiling analysis reports, and providing data support and creative insights for the team's topic selection meetings. - Collaborate with the creative team to complete other auxiliary work related to content research and creation.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualification(s): - Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Film and Television Production, Broadcasting and Hosting, Media Communication, Journalism, or related majors. - Excellent English reading, writing, and comprehension skills, capable of accurately sorting out and translating English-language industry information and trend reports. - Strong research and analytical abilities, with the ability to systematically sort out and summarize scattered information and form preliminary insights. - Proactive work attitude, strong sense of responsibility, good teamwork spirit, and able to complete tasks efficiently under certain pressure. Preferred Qualification(s): - Familiar with the U.S. film and television industry and social culture, with a keen sense of smell for entertainment trends and social hot topics. - Proficient in using TikTok and other major U.S. social media platforms (such as Instagram, Twitter), and able to quickly capture and summarize platform trends. - Experience in content creation, topic planning, or market research is preferred; those who have paid attention to or studied short drama content are highly preferred.

[For Pay Transparency]Compensation Description (Hourly) - Campus Intern
The hourly rate range for this position in the selected city is $23.75- $23.75.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Interns have day one access to health insurance, life insurance, wellbeing benefits and more. Interns also receive 10 paid holidays per year and paid sick time (56 hours if hired in first half of year, 40 if hired in second half of year). Interns who are not working 100% remote may also be eligible for housing allowance.
