Job Description

The Los Angeles-based Multi-Market Sales team is seeking a dynamic and experienced Account Executive to join the team. This position is primarily responsible for maintaining and growing sales revenue across the entire portfolio of linear and non-linear properties for Peacock, NBC, and Telemundo. The Account Executive also cultivates and develops new advertisers for the NBC & Telemundo Stations multi-platform properties. This position will be responsible for growing revenue across NBCUniversal Local OTT and digital platforms, including Peacock TV, and NBC / Telemundo Full Episode Player, through the development and sale of creative advertising solutions to clients.

The Account Executive will be expected to meet quarterly and annual targets by servicing existing clients as well as identifying and prospecting new business.  


Job Duties

  • Own, manage, and develop relationships with clients, agencies and advertisers through day-day interaction
  • Responsible for bringing in New Business Revenue.  Embrace, understand, target, pitch and secure new sources of marketing, advertising, promotional and event revenue for all NBC and TELEMUNDO programming, sponsorships, events and special opportunities
  • Create customized solutions for local and national clients that will demonstrate the power and extensive portfolio of NBC / TELEMUNDO, along with the monetization of all properties and platforms
  • Ascertain and market to previously untapped, emerging and traditional brands/ businesses; Drive revenue through successful negotiating and closing skills; Recommend and sell the value and benefit of Linear, Non-Linear, Mobile, Digital, Out-Of-Home, Sponsorships, Sports, Community and Event Marketing opportunities, etc.
  • Develop growth revenue by focusing on “conversion” targets from competitive media including radio, print, digital, out of home, cable, events, etc. 
  • Organize management of a business opportunity pipeline and sharp revenue forecasting
  • Properly manage multi-market role volume and engage key stakeholders appropriately
  • Effectively present sales proposal and sales pitches to internal and external clients
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in media sales and/or marketing roles with a successful track record of generating increased sales
  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of media research and measurement products
  • Proven success selling non-linear AD solutions including OTT/CTV 
  • Must be willing and able to work a flexible schedule and be available some evening hours as needed for client events
  • Excellent computer skills with MS programs: Excel, PPT, Word and ability to create innovative presentation decks with expertise

Additional Requirements:

  • Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week.
  • Salary Range: $90,000 - $150,000 (SIC Eligible)
