American Consultants is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse MS/Tele Cardiology – Tulsa, OK 74104

Start Date: July 20, 2026

Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (18:45 - 07:15). Patient ratio 1:5. Weekend coverage required based on unit needs. Floating within scope as needed.

Highlights:
  • 30-bed cardiac specialty unit focused on overnight staffing needs
  • Work with cardiac patients requiring diuretics, anticoagulants, inotropes, and rate-controlling medications
  • Manage non-titratable cardiac drips including Cardizem, Dobutamine, Milrinone, and Amiodarone
  • Collaborative interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, physical therapy, and rapid response teams
  • EPIC documentation system (experience preferred)
  • 13-week travel assignment with orientation provided
Requirements:
  • Valid Oklahoma or Compact RN license required at time of submission
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required in hand at submission
  • Minimum 1 year of MS/Tele experience required
  • Experience with telemetry monitoring, interpretation of dysrhythmias, and dysrhythmia management
  • Proficiency in central line and peripheral line care/management
  • Experience managing cardiac and vasoactive drips (no titration)
  • First-time travelers accepted; candidates outside 75-mile local radius only
