Registered Nurse - Med/Surg Telemetry (Night Shift Contract)

Location: Canton, OH


Job Summary (Simple)

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Med/Surg Telemetry RN for a night shift contract role. Nurse will provide direct patient care to adult telemetry patients, monitor cardiac rhythms, and support safe medication administration in an acute care hospital setting.


Shift Details
  • Night Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
  • 3x12-hour shifts per week
  • Orientation: 32-40 hours (paid at 50% base rate)
  • Scheduling system: Qualivis - Lotus One

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct care for Med/Surg and telemetry patients
  • Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms
  • Administer medications and IV therapies safely
  • Respond to changes in patient condition and escalate as needed
  • Document patient care accurately in EMR
  • Follow hospital protocols for patient safety and infection control
  • Support interdisciplinary care team activities

Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 18 months recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience
  • Active Ohio RN license OR compact state RN license (in hand)
  • Strong cardiac telemetry monitoring experience
  • Ability to pass ECG rhythm recognition test and SafeMedicate exam during orientation
