Job Description

Join Teledyne Controls and play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of engineering and quality documentation that supports advanced aerospace and defense technologies. In this position, you'll be a key partner to Engineering, Quality, and Operations, helping maintain configuration control and enabling efficient product lifecycle management. Your work will directly contribute to regulatory compliance, product traceability, and operational excellence.

What you'll do

  • Manage document lifecycles including creation, review, release, revision, and archival

  • Maintain document repositories within PLM/EDMS systems ensuring accuracy, metadata integrity, and access control

  • Assign and track document, part, and change numbers per company standards

  • Review engineering orders and ensure complete, compliant release packages

  • Validate bill of materials and perform data entry within document management systems

  • Support configuration status accounting and generate release documentation lists

  • Conduct audits to ensure document accuracy, retention, and compliance

  • Coordinate document distribution, transmittals, and retrieval requests

  • Support continuous improvement of document control workflows and processes

What you need

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience - preferred

  • 2+ years of experience of handson document control or configuration management experience in an engineering/manufacturing environment (aerospace/defense preferred)

  • Proficiency in document management systems, PLM/EDMS tools, and Microsoft Office

  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and parts lists

  • Experience with document control and configuration management processes

  • Knowledge of quality standards such as ISO 9001 or AS9100

  • Experience building or maintaining MS Access databases highly preferred

  • Must be a U.S. Person (includes U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, refugees, and asylees).

    Salary Range:

    $62,800.00-$83,700.000

    The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate. Actual compensation for successful candidates is carefully determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, location, education/training, work experience, key skills, and type of position.
