Job description

Overview:

Guidepoint's Market Research Team is seeking a Senior Market Research Analyst to help oversee quantitative client relationships, design and manage research projects, write and develop questionnaires, and build out reporting and data deliverables for our corporate and financial services clients.

This is a hybrid position out of our New York office.

What You'll Do:

  • Design quantitative survey research and manage research projects, from initial client discovery to project management, data analysis, and final reporting, including both simple (descriptive) and more advanced (market share analysis, discrete choice analysis, regression analysis) project types
  • Review client questionnaires and research proposals to ensure research best practices are followed, conduct quality assurance on data and programmed surveys to ensure quality and accuracy
  • Coordinate and collaborate with other quantitative survey operational staff (fieldwork, survey programming, data automation) to ensure projects are executed among intended audiences, on-time, and at a high quality
  • Serve as a partner to sales staff, serving as a client- and prospect-facing voice representing Guidepoint's market research services and capabilities; assist in producing proposals and pricing information for large opportunities
  • Other duties as required

What You Have:

  • 4+ years experience managing end-to-end quantitative survey research projects in a client-service context, including project design, questionnaire writing, fieldwork management, data processing and analysis, and presentation/report development and delivery.
  • Comfort with or experience in standard types of market research (brand tracking, content/concept testing, pricing research, market sizing)
  • Specific experience in surveying and servicing B2B audiences, with experience in the medical or biopharma sector preferred
  • Skilled in Microsoft suite of products (Excel, PPT)
  • Experience with DisplayR (preferred) or another survey data analysis tool (Dimensions, SPSS, Stata, Q) required
  • Experience with survey programming platforms (Qualtrics, Forsta) preferred but not required
  • Understanding of how to communicate with end stakeholders with varying levels of technical/research proficiency, able to modulate communication style based on client need and experience
  • Comfort collaborating with internal stakeholders and operational leads in survey programming, field management, participant recruitment, and sales and managing timelines for multiple projects at once
  • Experience doing background research on business and consumer audiences, recommending sample designs for representative research outcomes

What we Offer:

The annual base salary for this position is $82,000 - $115,000. Additionally, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on performance

You will also be eligible for the following benefits:

  • Will match up to 10% of employee contribution for 401(k), life insurance, paid time-off and parental leave plans
  • Commuter benefits and a corporate gym rate
  • Development opportunities through the LinkedIn Learning platform
  • Free snacks and beverages in the office
  • Friday happy hour and "Summer Fridays"
  • Year-round corporate athletic league
  • Casual work environment, team building, and other social events
