As a Program Cost Control Analyst - Finance - Level 2 or Level 3 your role at Dulles, VA will be pivotal in supporting missions critical to national and global security. This position is 100% onsite and cannot accommodate telecommute work.

Our Program Cost Control Analyst will support the financial planning and reporting for the Space Superiority division, and will report to the Manager of Strategic Space and Homeland Defense, Business Management.
This position will work a 9/80 schedule, with every other Friday off.
Your Role and Impact:
  • Monitor and control costs while critically analyzing actuals and forecast against plan
  • Perform analysis and prepare reports in order to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines
  • Perform Earned Value Metric (EVM) tasks including Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) development, budget baseline, cost risk analysis/ assessment and visibility reports, development and analysis of estimates to complete.
  • Provide financial business analysis and reporting with the ability to clearly communicate financial program status and analysis.
  • Achieve on-time deliverables supporting the business cadence with a heavy emphasis on earned value requirements and data analysis.
  • Translate cost inputs into a financial forecast that incorporates sound judgement and top line adjustments to provide accurate assessments for the AOP and future planning.
  • Support EAC integration with program business areas to ensure month to month alignment.
  • Complete data quality checks and reconciliation to ensure validity of data
  • Other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications for Level 2:
  • Bachelor's degree with 2 years of professional experience - OR - Master's degree with 0 years of professional experience.
  • Will consider an additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of degree.
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance
  • Experience with financial analysis or reporting
  • Experience with MS Office Suite

Basic Qualifications for Level 3:
  • Bachelor's degree with 5 years of professional experience - OR - Master's degree with 3 years of professional experience - OR - PhD with 1 year of professional experience.
  • Will consider an additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of degree.
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance
  • Experience with financial analysis or reporting
  • Experience with MS Office Suite

  • Active Secret clearance at time of application
  • NGFP / Planning & Analytics Experience (Internal)
  • Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or Business Administration

Primary Level Salary Range: $75,800.00 - $113,800.00
Secondary Level Salary Range: $94,200.00 - $141,200.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
