Property Accounting Lead
Job Description Summary: 
  • D amp;G Solutions is seeking a Property Accounting Lead to support U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) facilities and infrastructure programs by ensuring accurate financial tracking, asset accountability, and compliance with federal funding requirements. This role will work with engineering, program, and data teams to support capital projects, maintain reliable property and financial records, and ensure compliance with federal funding requirements.

Roles amp; Responsibilities:  
  • Lead financial and property accounting support for Procurement, Construction, and Improvement (PC amp;I) and Coastal Shore Operations (CSO) funded projects.
  • Support FSMS and ERP system integration related to real property assets.
  • Develop and review cost estimates, spend plans, and financial reconciliations.
  • Ensure compliance with Federal Appropriation Law and applicable financial policies and guidance.
  • Support audits, data validation, and asset accountability reviews.
  • Support lease management tracking and reporting requirements.
  • Maintain documentation and records retention for financial and property transactions.
  • Provide financial input for leadership briefings and Congressional data requests.
    Requirements:  
    • Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) in Management, Engineering, or Business.
    • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required
    • Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM) or Certified Government Manager (CGFM) required
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in Federal Real Property including financial management functions.
    • Experience with FSMS or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) financial systems.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Windows (including the Office 365/One Drive/Teams, Microsoft Project, and SharePoint).
    Eligibility Requirements:  
    • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance and Common Access Card (CAC).
    • This role is restricted to U.S. person(s) (ie., U.S. citizens, permanent residents and other protected individuals under the immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3))
