• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients to determine their needs and treatment goals.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to diagnose and develop individualized treatment plans that reflect cultural diversity and consider the unique needs of each patient.
• Implement ongoing progress assessments, providing interventions and strategies to promote mental wellness and support effective symptom management.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records, ensuring compliance with departmental standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with patients and their families to create comprehensive treatment plans that outline the scope of care, desired outcomes, and intervention strategies.
• Coordinate referrals and establish effective communication with other healthcare providers, ensuring all patients have access to necessary resources.
• Engage in teaching and mentoring opportunities for students, interns, and peers, furthering the development of a strong clinical team.
• Participate in chart audits, peer reviews, and clinical collaborations, fostering consistent quality improvement initiatives within the practice.

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Texas.
• Strong understanding of mental health diagnoses and treatment protocols, including an ability to utilize tools such as the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-5).
• Commitment to the principles of cultural competence and inclusivity in care delivery.

While not mandatory, candidates with previous experience in a clinical setting involving cancer patients or those dealing with chronic illness will find this role particularly compatible with their expertise. Familiarity with telehealth services and electronic health record systems is also advantageous.

The annual salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $105,000, with the potential for further earnings through performance-based incentives.
