Coho Technology Solutions is seeking a Project Manager with DoD IT/Telecommunications management experience to join our infrastructure team. The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing a complex IT/Telecommunications infrastructure project supporting a Department of Defense installation modernization effort. 

This position reports to the Coho TS Program Manager - Marine Corps Projects

Essential Job Functions:

  • Develop and maintain detailed MS Project schedules, including activity lists, timelines, schedule dates, and Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) that accurately track project activities and deliverables
  • Maintain a Project Management Plan throughout the life of the project
  • Maintain project tracking logs for cost, schedule, and performance
  • Plan, schedule, and facilitate project and working group meetings with stakeholders to track progress, identify requirements, resolve issues, and coordinate milestones
  • Prepare and provide deliverables and submittals in accordance with the Performance Work Statement
  • Maintain project configuration management and document control system
  • Draft and track project related Request for Information for submissions
  • Manage and track subcontractors' performance and progress
  • Maintain active communication and coordination with program manager to assist with project related internal processes and procedures to ensure timely submittal of operational requirements. (Invoicing, Estimates, Budgets, Human Resources related, etc.)
  • Attend internal company status and staff meetings virtually or in-person when required
  • Manage project related risk to ensure they do not adversely impact project or CohoTS
  • Maintain a professional and high level of customer satisfaction with respect to work and activities and address any deficiencies as needed
  • Maintain a proactive safety and quality program to ensure compliance with specifications and safety standards
  • Interaction with subcontractors, customers, and team members with excellent interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal

Identify, develop, and inform the CohoTS leadership of additional contracting opportunities which may become present during the performance of the project

Essential Job Requirements:

  • Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in technical or management-related discipline, or equivalent industry certifications or relevant professional experience.
  • Required Knowledge/Experience:
    • 10 years of DoD IT and Telecommunications Management Experience
    • Thorough knowledge and understanding of Project Management in a DoD environment
    • Strong computer skills
    • Proven disciplined leadership
    • Strong knowledge of JITIC approved IT and Telecommunications products
  • Preferred Knowledge/Experience:
    • Project Management Professional (PMP certification) or equivalent
    • Experience with IT and Telecommunications project execution for military entities, USMC
  • Experience in information technology that includes areas such as desktop hardware, operating systems, office productivity software, computer networking-Local Area Network (LAN) /Wide Area Network (WAN), servers, SharePoint, virtual machines, video teleconferencing, WirelessLocal Area Network (WLAN) Networks, Unified Communications, Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM), and other transport solutions.

Basic Eligibility Requirements:

  • U.S. Citizenship is required
  • Must possess or be able to obtain and maintain a minimum Secret security clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science from an ABET accredited or CAE designated institution or related field and/or equivalent experience
  • Proven success in developing scalable project strategies and process improvements
