Job description

Position Summary

  • Leadership position responsible for all lines of business within the division, including structured cabling, fiber splicing, security, P&L, sales, estimating, project management, and operations. The successful candidate will have working knowledge of telecommunications, data, and physical security network infrastructure and a proven track record developing and leading high-performance teams.

 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead the teammate safety program for the division, including safety training, regulatory reporting, inspections, and policy enforcement.
  • Ensure all products and services meet or exceed quality expectations.
  • Build annual sales and operating budget and business plan for the division.
  • Provide weekly/monthly reporting and deliver expected or anticipated results.
  • Ensure financial reporting accuracy with support from centralized legal, accounting, HR, safety, and IT resources.
  • Lead and manage sales process including external and internal channels, lead generation, funnel management, and proposal generation.
  • Represent the organization professionally in all matters.
  • Lead teammate development initiatives including evaluations, coaching, and continuing education.
  • Work with centralized fleet and asset managers to ensure required equipment and maintenance programs support the team and customers.

 

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required; BS/BA in engineering, business, or telecommunications preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of telecommunications, data/computer network, or physical security experience preferred.
  • Polished professional image with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of structured cabling systems, fiber optic cable installation, security, and wireless networks.
  • Computer literacy including Microsoft Office and MS Project.
  • Strong desire to be a team player and succeed in the low-voltage technologies business.
  • RCDD certification preferred.
