Job description

Job Title: Telecommunications/Network Engineer - Analyst Job Category: Engineering Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: TS/SCI Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 10% Type of Travel: Local * * * The Opportunity: CACI is seeking a Telecommunications/Network Engineer - Analyst to conduct research to produce various products in coordination with project and program leadership. This position will research and exploit key data sources to assess technical capabilities of C5 systems with a focus on networks. You will leverage and apply knowledge of networks and mobile communications to develop assessments of capabilities, limitations, intent and vulnerabilities of military systems and technologies.

Responsibilities: * Use all source research skills and technical knowledge to develop detailed network maps of complex telecommunications systems, including protocol stack analysis, traffic flow diagrams, and ladder charts * Produce products including briefings, all source assessments, and technical notes * Attend technical working meetings * Conduct all source research and analytical design work for proposed products * Draft and finalize finished intelligence products according to ICD 203, ICD 206 standards * Deliver high-quality, timely work while incorporating iterative feedback * Address technical requests for information Qualifications: Required: * Active in scope DoD TS/SCI security clearance. * Must possess the ability to work independently with minimal oversight while maintaining focus on research objectives defined by the client. * Journeyman requires 5 years of relevant experience in the DOD or intelligence community.

BS degree in Electrical Engineering or a Computer Engineering degree with a focus in Communications & Networking, Cybersecurity, or a related field * Senior level requires a MS degree in Electrical Engineering or a Computer Engineering degree with a focus in Communications & Networking, Cybersecurity, or a related field and 10 years of relevant experience in the DOD or intelligence community. Desired: * Knowledge of cellular and radio communication networks * Networking Protocol and Infrastructure Analysis * Wireless Communications & Signal Processing * SysML * Visio - What You Can Expect: A culture of integrity. Pay Range : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
