Location: Fort Meade, MD | Scott AFB, IL | Hill AFB (Ogden), UT

We are seeking an experienced Senior ServiceNow Developer to support a large-scale DoD enterprise environment focused on modernization, sustainment, and operational excellence. This role supports mission-critical network and service operations and requires a strong background in ServiceNow development, automation, and telecommunications-related modules.
This position is 100% onsite at Fort Meade, MD, Scott AFB, IL, or Hill AFB (Ogden), UT. Primary Responsibilities Perform configuration, development, support, and maintenance of the ServiceNow platform
Support standup, configuration, and implementation of: ITSM
OMT (Order Management Telecommunications)
TSM
TSOM Create and maintain: Forms, workflows, reports, dashboards, views, roles, and groups Develop automated workflows and Service Catalog solutions
Integrate ServiceNow with external tools and platforms (Elastic, Netcool, Kafka, etc.)
Coordinate and support application and platform upgrades
Assist with the design and documentation of business process flows
Support business process re-engineering efforts to migrate ticketing and order management into ServiceNow
Design and implement CMDB solutions, ensuring data quality and integrity
Support data migration and system integrations
Troubleshoot and resolve ServiceNow platform and application issues
Orchestrate and automate operational workflows
Collaborate with engineers, developers, analysts, and stakeholders in an Agile environment
Maintain technical documentation in accordance with development best practices
Identify operational trends and patterns to improve user experience and system performance
Mentor and guide junior ServiceNow developers

Experience with ServiceNow Discovery and CMDB

Bachelor’s degree with 8–12 years of relevant experience
OR Master’s degree with 6–10 years of experience
(Additional years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree)
6+ years supporting technology infrastructure
4+ years of ServiceNow development experience
Experience supporting ServiceNow upgrades
Strong multitasking, prioritization, and time-management skills
Willingness and ability to mentor junior developers Preferred / Nice-to-Have Qualifications ServiceNow Certified Application Developer
Experience with telecommunications-related ServiceNow modules (TSM, TNI, OMT)
Familiarity with Agile, SAFe, and Kanban methodologies
Experience with JIRA, Git, and Confluence

AWS cloud experience and additional ServiceNow certifications
Experience migrating from legacy systems to ServiceNow
