Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Access Integrity Driver in Cumming, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Access Control Security Professional at a technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will help manage entry points, verify access credentials, monitor activity, and provide courteous communication to employees and visitors. You will help maintain an orderly environment, report security-related concerns, and support a welcoming experience through teamwork, integrity, and a caring approach. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor access points at a technology, media, and telecommunications location; verify identification, manage visitor and contractor entry, and maintain accurate access-related records.
  • Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned entrances, common areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership regarding access concerns, unusual activity, and security-related incidents.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
