Job description
- Pull cables, innerduct, fire stopping, dress cables, label cables, clean fiber, etc.
- Ensure proper functionality and compliance with industry standards
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as testing connections and checking equipment performance
- Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and maintenance activities
- Carry and load materials on jobsite and maintain inventory
- Keep vehicles and equipment in clean condition
- Read and understand blueprints and diagrams
- Safety training as required by position
- Paperwork filing and maintenance as needed
- Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested
Essential Education and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to think critically and problem solve efficiently
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to communicate, listen effectively, and work well with customers, employees, etc.
- Must have a valid driver’s license
Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
- Experience working with telecommunications systems
Physical Demands:
- Ability to climb ladders, stand, reach and hold objects for extended periods.
- Must be able to work both outside and inside during the summer and winter months
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
