JSI invites you to join our team as an Outside Plant (OSP) Project Coordinator on our Fiber Design & Implementation Team in our Nephi, UT office, where you'll play a critical role in advancing broadband and telecommunications initiatives that expand connectivity and drive digital inclusion-while advancing your career within a mission-driven, growth-focused organization.

Position Overview:
The OSP Project Coordinator is responsible for the successful execution of assigned OSP fiber network design and implementation projects across multiple markets. This role requires an individual with strong leadership, facilitation, management, and client relationship skills. This position will partner with JSI, construction vendors, and the client's organization to plan and execute project delivery.

If you have a track record of successfully managing complex OSP FTTH, FTTX, or other construction projects, as well as strong leadership, emotional intelligence, and facilitation skills, then this role is for you!
  • Manage OSP Residents & Inspectors, who oversee the construction teams to ensure that work is completed on time and within budget to the required standard.
  • You will be required to provide updates to the entire team to strategically manage risk, monitor finances, and provide required status updates to the customer.
  • Ensure each phase of work is delivered based on the schedule.
  • Bachelor's degree in civil, mechanical, or other similar engineering disciplines.
  • 2+ years of experience successfully managing complex OSP FTTH Construction projects as an OSP Resident, OSP Engineer, or similar role is preferred.
  • Comfortable in a rapidly changing environment with competing and shifting priorities.
  • Strong sense of urgency with a high degree of professionalism and integrity.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, as well as listening and interpretation skills.
  • Proficiency with software such as Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Teams), AutoCAD, Google Earth, or GIS platforms is a plus.
  • Depending on home location, it may require the ability to travel: 10-20%.
