Description
Team Fishel , the Best Choice in Utility Construction since 1936, is hiring a Project Manager - Telecommunications Construction for projects in the greater Tidewater, VA area.
The Project Manager manages and directs telecommunications construction projects in both underground and overhead applications. The successful candidate will direct multiple project teams (consisting of full-time Teammates and subcontractors) and manage the total project scope from conception to final completion.
Required Knowledge and Experience
  • Ability to work and develop rapport with all levels of management, construction crews, and customers
  • Demonstrated experience in planning and managing overhead and underground telecommunications construction projects
  • Ability to develop new business with clients in the telecommunications space.
  • Ability to manage, report, and prioritize multiple construction projects
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of fiber splicing
  • Ability to represent the project and Team Fishel in public forums and planning sessions
  • Strong team-building skills
  • Negotiating skills
  • Experience using Microsoft Office and Google Suite tools
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including interpersonal, facilitation, and presentation abilities

Starting pay $90,000 - $95,000 / annual depending on experience.
