Schedule: You will be on a training schedule for approximately 90 days and then after training, you will be assigned to a second or third shift.
Pay: $35.01 - $46.68/hr. with a $3.00/HR shift premium for night shift
Team Overview and Job Responsibilities
Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial machinery and equipment. You should be able to interpret blueprints and schematics, use a variety of tools and diagnostic devices, and have a keen understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Our ideal candidate has a solid understanding of industrial machinery and its safe operation and is committed to contributing to a strong safety culture.
This position requires a mechanical aptitude and the ability to perform a variety of semi-skilled and skilled electrical/electronic equipment installation and the repair and replacement of plant equipment.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Inspect machinery and equipment to diagnose malfunctions.
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance on electrical systems to minimize downtime.
  • Repair or replace broken or malfunctioning components of machinery and equipment.
  • Install, wire and commission electrical panels and field devices.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems including power distribution, control panels sensors, relays, contractors, and motor controls.
  • Reassemble equipment after completion of inspections, testing, or repairs
  • Identify root causes of electrical failures and recommend corrective actions
  • Observe and test the operation of machinery and equipment in order to diagnose malfunctions, using voltmeters and other testing devices.
  • Operate newly repaired machinery and equipment to verify the adequacy of repairs.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams.
  • Required Qualifications:
  • A results-driven individual who has demonstrated the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-performance manufacturing environment.
  • Proven work experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
  • Possess basic understanding of MSDS.
  • Operate Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PP, DataStream, MP7i)
  • High school diploma or equivalent; certificate or associate's degree in a technical field is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Understand technical service manuals and drawings.
  • Read plant PID prints.
  • Experience with MIG/TIG and stick welding (carbon and stainless steel).
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems, including 480V three-phase systems, is highly valued. This includes working with motors, control panels, and other industrial equipment.
  • 5-7 years of Industrial experience
  • 3-5 years minimum experience in an industrial maintenance position
