Job Description

Position               : Level 3 Telecommunications Engineer

Location               : Hershey, PA Onsite

Duration              : 6 months

Description

We are seeking a seasoned Level 3 Telecommunications Engineer to provide on-site support for an upcoming telephony project in the Hershey, PA area. This role requires a highly experienced, hands-on engineer with deep knowledge of VoIP telephony environments who can operate independently and support critical project milestones.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Tier 3 on-site telecommunications support for a project-based engagement
  • Support Avaya telephony systems, including troubleshooting, configuration, and optimization
  • Assist with implementation, cutover support, and issue resolution during project phases
  • Collaborate with remote engineering teams and project stakeholders
  • Ensure system stability, performance, and adherence to best practices
  • Document work performed and provide status updates as required

Required Skills & Experience

  • Senior-level (Tier 3) telecommunications engineering experience
  • Strong hands-on expertise with VoIP telephony systems
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot complex voice issues in production environments
  • Comfortable working in a project-driven, schedule-based role
  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight

Nice to Have
