Locations: San Francisco, CA - Hybrid
Targeted Years of Experience: 5-7 Years Responsibilities:
-- Hands-on experience with the design and install of equipment used in transmitting broadband data over in-building networks
-- Hand-on experience with coax, twisted pair copper or fiber optic cabling and complex networks as well as switching equipment
-- Experience with coordinating installation of new in-building networks or equipment
-- Ability to evaluate multi-tenant (residence and business) buildings to determine compatibility with different networks and systems
-- Experience with managing large build projects involving broadband services, and ensure timely planning and implementation
-- Experience with producing technical as-built documentation
-- Ability to provide general ad-hoc operational support for local field engineering and sales teams
Must Have Skills:
-- General knowledge & experience with the design and install of in-building network architectures
-- General work area hazard identification & prevention
-- Knowledge & experience with CATV provider termination points (e.g., terminals, pedestals)
-- Hands-on experience with testing and troubleshooting coax and Cat6a Ethernet cabling
-- Must possess a vehicle capable of transporting tools and equipment
-- Hands-on experience working off of ladders (step/extension/folding)
-- Hands-on experience with drilling in multiple dwelling/commercial buildings
-- Frontline experience with working with customer/clients
Desired Skills:
