Job description

Forsk is seeking a Sales Engineer, Private Networks to drive business development in the US market. You will focus on expanding our presence in key verticals, including manufacturing, energy, transportation, logistics, smart cities, utilities, public safety, mining, etc. Your role will involve engaging with clients, understanding their technical needs, and delivering tailored solutions to support their private network projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development: Identify and engage with key players in target industries (manufacturing, energy, transportation, logistics, smart cities, utilities, public safety, defense, mining, etc.).
  • Technical Sales: Present and demonstrate Forskโ€™s private network solutions, addressing technical and business requirements.
  • Customer Engagement: Understand client needs, participate in RFPs, and provide technical support throughout the sales cycle.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and report insights to internal teams.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with product and R&D teams to align solutions with market demands.
Requirements
  • Education: Masterโ€™s degree in Engineering (Computer Science, Telecom, or related field).
  • Experience: 3+ years in technical sales, business development, or engineering roles, preferably in private mobile networks or telecom.
  • Technical Skills: Understanding of wireless network technologies (5G, LTE, IoT) and software solutions for network planning/optimization.
  • Soft Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to work in multicultural environments.
  • Language: Fluent in English (written and spoken).
  • Travel: Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
  • Location: The position is based in a desirable downtown Chicago, IL location (North America Head Office).
  • Eligibility: Must have legal authorization to work in the US.
