Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Security/Telecom Construction Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of security and telecommunications infrastructure on large-scale construction projects. The ideal candidate will bring deep knowledge of low-voltage systems, structured cabling, access control, CCTV, and telecom integration, along with proven leadership in managing subcontractors, schedules, budgets, and client expectations


Responsibilities

  • Manage the construction and installation of security and telecom systems, including structured cabling, access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, and communication networks.
  • Oversee subcontractors, vendors, and field teams to ensure quality, safety, and compliance with project requirements.
  • Collaborate with design teams, engineers, and project stakeholders to review drawings, specifications, and submittals.
  • Develop, monitor, and update project schedules, ensuring alignment with overall construction timelines.
  • Track budgets, process change orders, and manage cost controls.
  • Conduct regular site walks and inspections to ensure proper installation practices and adherence to code.
  • Serve as the point of contact for clients, consultants, and internal project teams on all security/telecom scope-related matters.
  • Lead project meetings, prepare progress reports, and resolve issues proactively to minimize delays.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards, local building codes, safety regulations, and security/telecom industry best practices. 



Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred) or equivalent field experience. 
  • 7+ years of construction management experience, with at least 3+ years focused on low-voltage, security, or telecom systems. 
  • Strong knowledge of access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, structured cabling, and telecom infrastructure.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple subcontractors and trades on fast-paced projects.
  • Familiarity with design-build project delivery and working in highly technical environments (data centers, semiconductor, healthcare, or critical facilities a plus). 
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency with project management tools (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, or similar)
  • OSHA 30 certification or equivalent safety training preferred.
