Job description

Job Title- Telecommunications Systems Engineer, 5G LTE

Project Location – Stringfield, VA (Onsite)

Duration- 12+ months contract

Visa- USC

Primary Responsibilities 
  • Lead product demonstrations and pre-sales support activities
  • Perform system integration testing and troubleshooting
  • Configure and provision 5G LTE devices and equipment
  • Design and deliver customer training sessions
  • Prepare and present technical briefings to clients
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners
  • Provide field support at CONUS and OCONUS locations
  • Develop product roadmaps on 5G LTE capabilities
Background Qualifications
  • Technical degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Engineering, Cyber Security or similar field with 4 to 7 years experience
  • Prior on-the-job Systems Engineering experience with C5ISR type communications systems
  • Expertise in networking design, configuration, management, and troubleshooting – i.e., IP configuration, routing, switching and LAN/WAN management
  • Ability to understand IP and network protocols related to QoS, throughput, and assured IP services; Previous experience or knowledge of 4G-5G LTE technology at the EUD, eNodeB or at core network level – i.e., Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, Samsung, or Motorola operator experience desired
  • Experience in the Testing and Verification process
  • Possess a technical and operational understanding in 4G & 5G spectral performance and LTE metrics
  • Ability to lead technical training sessions with operators and customers
  • Willing to travel to CONUS-OCONUS field locations in the execution of their job as needed
  • Strong verbal and writing communications and management skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous hands-on Military tactical telecom, radio, or technician experience in a Communications MOS
  • Private 5G implementation, and maintenance experience
  • CCNP Enterprise certification with wireless concentration (ENWLSD 300-425 or ENWLSI 300-430) or other wireless certification is a plus
