What does a telecom product manager do?

A Telecom Product Manager is responsible for overseeing the development, launch, and lifecycle of telecommunications products and services, such as mobile plans, internet packages, or network solutions. They work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, and sales, to identify market needs and create products that meet customer demands. Their role involves market research, defining product requirements, managing timelines, and ensuring the product’s success in a competitive telecom market.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a telecom product manager, and why are they important?
