Job description

Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Telecom Engineer to design, implement, and support enterprise voice and unified communications systems. This role is responsible for maintaining high availability, optimizing performance, and leading telecom initiatives across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement Cisco Unified Communications (CUCM), Unity Connection, and VoIP solutions

Architect, deploy, and support Voalte and Spok communication solutions, driving system reliability, scalability, and integration across the enterprise.

Monitor telecom infrastructure health and proactively address performance issues

Provide Tier 3 support and serve as escalation point for complex voice issues

Collaborate with network, security, and application teams on integration projects

Perform capacity planning and develop strategies for system growth

Lead telecom-related projects including upgrades, migrations, and new deployments

Document configurations, call flows, and operational procedures

Manage vendors and telecom service providers

Requirements

7+ years of telecom or voice engineering experience

Strong experience with: Cisco CUCM, Unity, CUBE, SIP, Spok, Voalte, VoIP protocols and call flows, Cisco certifications preferred (CCNP Collaboration, CCIE).

Experience in enterprise or multi-site environments.
