Your Impact

Pearce is seeking Experienced HVAC Technicians to join our team for servicing and repairing commercial HVAC equipment on telecom shelters located on Cell Tower sites. This is a fast-paced and rewarding job that is best suited for individuals who are responsible, self-directed, highly motivated, willing to travel, and looking to learn and grow in the Telecom industry. This is a regional position. Candidates should reside within 60 miles of Pawtucket, Rhode Island area.

Core Responsibilities

  • Maintaining cooling systems – diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, or installing and replacing components of entire systems.
  • Conducting performance checks and regular maintenance on HVAC equipment.
  • Performing additional maintenance or upgrades to out-of-season HVAC equipment.
  • Responding to service calls in a timely manner, including emergency call out services.
  • Timely and accurate completion of daily work reports.
  • Operate and maintain a motor vehicle safely and legally per the PEARCE Employee Handbook and insurance requirements.

Specific duties may vary or evolve over time based on business and client needs.

Core Experience

  • Must be Level 2 or Universal EPA Certified (Required).
  • 3+ years of experience with HVAC maintenance (commercial preferred).
  • Basic knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components including refrigeration systems is preferred.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and by email.

Physical/Work Environment

At Pearce safety is our number one concern. Candidates must be able to comply with OSHAFCC/FAA/EPA Standards.

  • Candidates should reside within 60 miles of Pawtucket, Rhode Island area.
  • Must be available for after-hours and weekend call outs on occasion.
  • Extensive daily travel in an independent work structure.
  • Occasional overnights required-company pays all travel costs and provides per diem.
  • Driving to remote work sites as needed.
  • Be exposed to ambient temperatures while working outdoors.
  • Lift and move equipment as needed (up to 50 pounds).
  • Will be required to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical.

Compensation: $24.00-$43.00 hourly/DOE

In addition to wages, employees may also be eligible for performance and referral bonuses, production incentives, tool/equipment and fuel stipends, company vehicle, per diem or other applicable compensation.
