Nature de l'emploi

Le titulaire effectue l'entretien, la reparation et la mise en marche de lignes maitresses, de lignes de distribution, des tetes de ligne et des sites de reception. Le titulaire optimise toutes les opportunites pour faire la promotion et la vente des produits et services offerts par l'entreprise.

Le titulaire doit etre attentif et a l'ecoute des besoins de la clientele, il doit repondre a toute question et probleme souleve, en offrant un service professionnel et des reponses adaptees aux besoins du client.

Le titulaire du poste doit avoir le souci constant que l'execution de son travail appuie l'objectif ultime qui est d'offrir un excellent service a la clientele actuelle et potentielle de l'entreprise.

Principales responsabilites

Analyse les problemes et procede aux reparations necessaires des diverses composantes des tetes de ligne et des sites de reception, des lignes maitresses et des lignes de distribution.

Effectue des travaux d'entretien et de reparation de lignes maitresses et de lignes de distribution.

Effectue la pose ou la relocalisation de lignes maitresses, de lignes de distribution et des pieces electroniques qui sont associees a celles-ci.

Effectue la preparation de ces pieces en atelier.

Effectue les travaux necessaires a la mise en marche des reseaux.

Effectue l'installation, la modification, l'entretien preventif et l'ajustement des diverses composantes des tetes de ligne et des sites de reception.

Assure l'optimisation de la qualite des signaux dans toutes ses interventions.

Effectue des releves de radiation et au besoin procede aux correctifs necessaires.

Effectue le balancement des reseaux.

Realise des preuves de performance et procede a la redaction et a l'interpretation des donnees recueillies.

S'assure d'avoir a sa disposition les equipements, les pieces et les accessoires et en maintient l'inventaire.

Lorsque requis, effectue des releves prealables, procede a la conception et dresse des croquis de plans et devis.

Occasionnellement peut etre appele a effectuer des travaux normalement executes par un autre employe de son service.

Deploie les efforts requis pour assurer la retention des clients qui expriment le desir d'annuler leur abonnement ou de reduire leur niveau de service.

Effectue certains travaux de coordination entre le Service technique et des entreprises d'utilites publiques ou d'autres intervenants.

Effectue la mise en marche, l'installation, la relocalisation, la verification, l'entretien, la reparation, la modification et l'ajustement des equipements, pieces ou accessoires relies au reseau de fibre optique.

Effectue la localisation de cables souterrains pour des tiers.

Complete ou redige certains rapports, formulaires ou autres documents relativement au travail effectue.

Lorsque requis, participe a la formation d'un nouvel employe.

Assume toutes autres taches s'assimilant aux principales responsabilites mentionnees a la presente description d'emploi. Celle-ci est indicative et non limitative.

Exigences

D.E.C. ou A.E.C. en electronique ou telecommunication;

Quatre (4) annees d'experience a titre de technicien installation et service ou de technicien general en telecommunication;

Disponible pour les sequences de garde (Fiabilite et disponibilite);

Aisance en informatique;

Dossier de conduite permettant l'obtention du permis de conduire Classe 3 au cours des 12 mois suivants l'obtention du poste;

Bonne forme physique - peut soulever des charges jusqu'a 35 kg et executer un travail requerant de l'endurance physique.

Notions de propagation des ondes/amplifications, composants d'un reseau telecom, electricite appliquee, lecture tension (V=RI), courant continu/alternatif, mathematique appliquee au telecom, lecture de plans, analyse du fonctionnement d'un reseau analogique/numerique, notions de diagnostic/ resolution de problemes appliques, installer et mettre en service un systeme de telecom, fonctionnement, analyse et reparation d'un reseau optique, controler la qualite de l'assemblage et l'integration d'un systeme de telecom.

La semaine reguliere de travail est de 37,50 heures reparties du lundi au vendredi inclusivement.

Le salaire horaire varie de 29,44 $ a 47,96$.
