Telecom Expense Analyst


Seeking a detail oriented Telecom Expense Analyst to manage and analyze telecommunications expenses for multiple client accounts. This role is responsible for reviewing telecom invoices, validating carrier billing, analyzing voice and data services, identifying billing discrepancies, and providing reporting and recommendations to help clients optimize their telecommunications costs. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, advanced Excel experience, and a solid understanding of telecommunications billing and carrier services.


Responsibilities

  • Review and analyze telecommunications invoices for accuracy and billing discrepancies.
  • Manage telecom expense data for multiple client accounts.
  • Reconcile carrier billing and identify cost saving opportunities.
  • Prepare reports and perform data analysis using Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, formulas, and other analytical tools.
  • Track telecommunications services, circuits, and inventory.
  • Work with carriers and internal teams to resolve billing issues.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Prioritize multiple projects while meeting established deadlines.


Qualifications

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, PivotTables, and data analysis.
  • Working knowledge of telecommunications networks, voice services, carrier billing, telecom circuits, and telecommunications invoices.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple client accounts in a fast-paced environment.
