Job Description: Product Owner / Technical Product Manager
Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Product Owner / Technical Product Manager with 12+ years of experience in enterprise-scale digital transformation, platform modernization, customer experience initiatives, and Agile product delivery. The ideal candidate will own product strategy, roadmap execution, backlog prioritization, and cross-functional delivery for complex enterprise platforms involving billing, payments, promotions, APIs, microservices, and customer-facing digital capabilities. Experience in telecom, digital commerce, billing, payments, or large-scale enterprise systems will be highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
• Define and manage product vision, roadmap, feature prioritization, and release planning for enterprise digital platforms.
• Translate business requirements into Epics, Features, User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, KPIs, and NFRs using Agile delivery practices.
• Lead backlog refinement, sprint planning, PI Planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives, demos, and stakeholder alignment sessions.
• Partner with Engineering, Architecture, QA, UX, DevOps, Operations, Finance, Marketing, and Business teams to deliver scalable product solutions.
• Drive delivery of platform capabilities involving billing, payments, promotions, customer activation, account management, and enterprise integrations.
• Collaborate with API, microservices, cloud, DevOps, and CI/CD teams to ensure secure, scalable, and reliable product implementation.
• Support release governance, deployment readiness, UAT, production validation, GO/NO-GO decisions, incident triage, and root cause analysis.
• Monitor product performance, operational KPIs, customer feedback, production incidents, and analytics to drive continuous improvement.
• Conduct feasibility analysis, gap analysis, solution reviews, dependency tracking, risk assessment, and stakeholder reporting.
• Ensure alignment with security, compliance, audit, data privacy, performance, and operational excellence requirements.
Required Skills & Experience
• 12+ years of experience in Product Ownership, Technical Product Management, Business Analysis, or Enterprise Platform Delivery.
• Strong experience in Agile/Scrum and SAFe delivery, including PI Planning, backlog management, sprint ceremonies, and roadmap execution.
• Hands-on experience with Jira, Jira Align, Rally, Confluence, ServiceNow, or similar Agile/product management tools.
• Proven experience delivering enterprise solutions involving billing systems, payment platforms, promotions engines, customer experience platforms, or digital commerce systems.
• Strong understanding of APIs, microservices, Kafka/event-driven systems, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, cloud-based deployments, and system integrations.
• Ability to define user stories, acceptance criteria, business value, leading indicators, launch considerations, and measurable outcomes.
• Experience working with production support, incident management, release management, UAT, regression testing, and operational readiness.
• Excellent stakeholder management, executive communication, cross-functional leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in telecom, fintech, digital platforms, billing, payments, subscription management, or high-volume customer-facing systems.
• Exposure to tools such as Splunk, Grafana, GitLab, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Azure, SQL, Tableau, Apigee, Redis, or messaging platforms.
• Experience using AI-assisted productivity or SDLC tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude AI, Cursor, or similar platforms.
• SAFe, Scrum Master, PMP, or Product Owner certification preferred.
Education
Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
