Tech Talent International (TTI) supplies technical talent to a variety of clients ranging from Fortune 100/500/1000 companies to startups, small and mid-sized organizations in Canada/US. We are currently hiring a IBMS (Operative BMS) SME – Techno-Functional Analyst for our consulting client in the Toronto area.

Role: IBMS (Operative BMS) SME – Techno-Functional Analyst

Type: Contract

Rate Range: $40-45/hr C2C (40 hrs /week)

Duration: 6-12 months + potential extensions

Location: Hybrid (2/3 days from home) Toronto, ON, Canada

Domain: Consulting and Telecom

Role Description:

  • Provide L1/L2/L3 support for IBMS (Operative BMS) in a helpdesk environment.
  • Troubleshoot issues in scheduling| ad sales| traffic| and billing modules.
  • Handle incidents| service requests| and user queries via ticketing tools.
  • Perform SQL-based database troubleshooting| data validation| and fixes.
  • Investigate and resolve data inconsistencies and system integration issues.
  • Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and ensure SLA adherence.
  • Support user access| configurations| and minor enhancements.
  • Work closely with sales| traffic| finance| and technical teams

Essential Skills:

  • Strong experience in Operative IBMS BMS system
  • Knowledge of broadcast/media workflows (scheduling| ad sales| traffic| billing)
  • Hands-on SQL & database troubleshooting (mandatory)
  • Experience in helpdesk / EUC support environment
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow/JIRA or similar tools
  • Strong analytical| problem-solving| and communication skills
  • Understanding of infrastructure / EUC environment (VDI| VPN| etc.)
  • Knowledge of integrations and reporting tools
