D.R. Horton, Inc. is currently looking for a Wireless Telecom Administrator I. The right candidate will maintain cellular telephones and wireless devices companywide, as well as perform billing/plan analysis and work with vendors to optimize company-wide usage.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Process companywide requests for cellular phones and wireless cards, including requests to move, add, or change service
  • Troubleshoot cellular telephone and wireless card problems and coordinate actions with end-users, vendors, and IT personnel to correct any interruption in service
  • Monitor use of a company-issued cell phone or other device including but not limited to excessive or zero use per policy guidelines. Report to management as per company policy
  • Conduct all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company
  • Able to meet department Service Level Agreements (SLA's) for issue response times. If unable to resolve during the designated response time, customer must be notified of steps to be taken with an ETA
  • Train users in cellular phone operations
  • Process returns for reissuance or salvage, ensuring corporate data is removed
  • Able to work overtime
  • Able to participate in on-call rotation
  • Able to travel overnight

Qualifications
Education and/or Experience
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • One to three years of related telecommunications experience
  • Possess strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office and email

Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school preferred
  • Ability to multi-task and attention to detail
