Job Description:
- The individual will be responsible for supporting and leading the technical demands of the site's gas or chemical equipment.
- They will ensure compliance with operation and maintenance procedures, emergency preparedness, and drive flawless execution.
- A subject matter expert for gas, chemical, and slurry equipment, providing technical support and problem resolution.
- The individuals will be a part of the onsite Project and equipment team and will support the gas and chemical operations in 11 buildings throughout Santa Clara and Sunnyvale.
- The Technician will support and lead the technical challenges for over 2000 pieces of distribution equipment of various types and vendors.
- You will ensure compliance when writing, editing, and executing operating and maintenance procedures and drive a ZERO safety or quality incident culture. A subject matter expert for gas, chemicals, or slurry equipment, providing technical support and problem resolution.
- The individual will also be involved in project and sustaining operations, Basic Safety Processes, quality management, preventative maintenance, and training.
- They will support installing, decommissioning, troubleshooting, and repairing all EMD Electronics Gas Systems, Applied Energy Systems gas systems, Fuji liquid delivery systems, Air Liquide Gas, and Chemical systems.
- The individual must be capable of performing cylinder and drum changes on all chemical and gas systems and perform complex troubleshooting and problem resolution for all equipment.
- Must demonstrate quality and comprehensive knowledge of gas or chemical applications in wafer fabrication and emergency response.
- Inexperienced and experienced will undergo comprehensive OJT and technical training and qualification programs.

Technicians will be responsible for the safe operation of assigned chemical and/or gas distribution systems, with duties including:
- Handling and change-out of gas, chemical, and slurry containers
- Previous experience with chemical and gas distribution equipment
- Gas and chemical equipment troubleshooting and preventative/repair maintenance
- Computer operations to support job functions and customer needs
- Support of quality systems
